Meet the Founder

Vernisha Powers

Ceo and Founder

With more than a decade of experience as a Health Unit Coordinator in both hospital and clinical settings, I built a career rooted in problem-solving, multitasking, and delivering compassionate support to families during some of their most vulnerable moments. In addition, I bring 15 years of experience as a Certified Personal Care Assistant and Direct Support Professional, working with the elderly and individuals with disabilities. These roles strengthened my patience, empathy, and dedication to serving others—values that now guide my work as a business owner.

As a single mother of three, my children have always been my greatest inspiration. I understand firsthand the daily challenges families—especially single parents—face when it comes to balancing work, parenting, and finding safe, reliable transportation for their children. That personal experience became the driving force behind the creation of United Kidz Transportation Nanny LLC, a community-focused service designed to ease the load on families while enriching the lives of children.

My passion for planning meaningful, fun, and educational day trips with my own children also played a major role in shaping this business. I have seen how exploration builds confidence, independence, and excitement for the world. Through curated day trips and enrichment experiences, my goal is to extend those same opportunities to other families—helping children create memories, build friendships, and discover new possibilities.
